Time Freeze
Is it possible to create this effect in Hitfilm Pro? If so can someone make a video tutorial on how to make it please?

Except for having to track in Mocha, every other step in this video can be done in Hitfilm Pro using the exact same steps shown in this video.
Heck, all he did was hang a bunch of 3D planes in space.

@Triem23 If you freeze frame, will the results turn out just like his?
-
Kinda-sorta. The real key to his shot was freezing in place (including the cameraman) as the cards fell, then holding the pose as the camera moved. A freeze frame won't be as dynamic, but would still work.

@Triem23 doesn't HitFilm Pro 2017 have Mocha tracking?
-
@JazzyLevFilms it does, as a plug-in.
-
@JMcAllister Just making sure

@Triem23 What if you freeze the frame and add a camera, and keyframe the position to move instead of having a camera man?
-
@Eliezerlow312 then you'd be doing something like this, but you can't look outside the size of the original frame because if you didn't film it and you move the camera in Hitfilm...there is nothing to see.

Pretty much what Palacono said. Plus you would have to, at minimum, mask out your actor to get parallax, and patch a cleanplate background.

While that video may not suit the project at hand, it was very cool and useful to watch. That puppet warp thingy would be the berries.
