Key framing a masked glow
How do I get it so that a glow will disappear in middle of a video?

You need to learn what keyframing is:

I know what key framing is. In fact, I'm working with a friend on key framing right now. It's just when I set the path for the glow, in the middle of the video where I wanted it, it just turned the glow down right at the start of the video.

@Elizerlow312. I think I know what you mean. The glow effect seems to depend on the distance from the camera. So if your object with the glow is approaching the camera, then the glow changes appearance and shape during the shot. (very irritating).
My work around at the moment, is to add a blur effect on top of the glow and adjust (keyframe) the blur over time to compensate.

Another note. Keyframing is only possible in the Composite Shot timeline. If you're adding glow in the Editor Timeline you cannot keyframe it there.

I'm doing it in a composite shot

@Stargazer54 The person in this shot is laying in front of a greenscreen and isn't moving.
