Hi I was wondering does anyone know I good place for tactical gear/costumes for filmmakers

Army/Navy store? Internet searches are good too. SamyDress has a lot of cheap, good looking clothing that could make decent military costumes if you don't mind waiting for a slow boat from China.

A quick look on Samydress found this jacket in under a minute. It's got a cool body armor look to it and $40 or so is a cheap price for a jacket.

Look at places catering to airsoft or paintball for helmets and facemasks. Motorcycle and BMX gear for chest armor, sporting goods stores too. Amazon is a decent place to look for fkight suits and coveralls. Army/Navy stores for BDUs, etc.

Look for online police supply. They have tactical gear for emergency response team.

Just made a nice 'tactical' leg blaster holster out of a black fabric Crossman pellet pistol holder from Walmart (about 7$) , a black fabric 1" wide camping tie down strap with buckles from Walmart (about $2) cut down in length and stitched to it to make the thigh strap, and a black 2" wide fabric utility work belt from Lowes (about $10). The blaster was repainted white and orange prop/toy for about $12 (plus some black, brown, and silver spray paint).
