Industry VFX Behind the Scenes MEGA thread.
Guys and Girls I was thinking wouldn't it be nice to have a single thread that had all those lovely BTS footage that we stumble upon, somewhere to browse through and marvel at how the professionals go about their work. So here it is. Please, (and I ask humbly) post links in this thread to any VFX BTS footage you come across. I know that there has been a number of other mini threads started on the forum, and I might try and post references to some of those here also.
So to start things of, I came across this ALIENS BTS video, a bit of a monster (get it) at 1hr 43mins but very much worth watching. What is really interesting to me, was the mount of in camera VFX that James Camron did for a lot of shots. https://youtu.be/J43vXq-Cvfo

Does this 'little' one count? It's just a fan made teaser, although it did take 14 months, on and off....
After "John Smith"s previous great mashups - Like WhoLock - I thought "Wow, no joins on this one, nicely done", Then I watched the breakdown.... Next level.

Holy Crap! That is wicked.
Have to admit, though. On first view, the feel of the rack focus and camera move almost said "miniature".
Nonetheless, very convincing. What really sells it are those leaves blowing along the ground.

Behind the scenes of Batman v.s Superman Dawn of Justice. Really good stuff in here, I like how they do a lot of practical (in camera) effects.

I've seen some of these already but not the Aliens one. Alien and Aliens are two of my all time favourite films and that was a really interesting documentary. How I've never seen that before I don't know so a big thanks @Andy001z

This footage is amazing, I posted above the VFX breakdown which gives you an idea of the amount of pratical effects and stunts, but this just takes that to another level.
