Is HitFilm Optimized for Pascal?
So... as soon as Pascal releases a water block I'm up grading the system I just built a month ago haha.
So my questions is, have the Dev's had a chance to optimize HFP for the new, well improved, beefy GPU?
Will HFP bottle neck?

I'd imagine it's all down to NVIDIA's optimisation for OpenGL, as well as the driver available.

In short....no, because we've not got any of the new cards in the office yet. You can be sure we'll be grabbing some once they're properly available. I would expect to get immediate benefits from using those new cards, though, in terms of rendering speed. Exactly how much remains to be seen.

Thanks @KevintheFilmmaker @SimonKJones.
I just hope it will provide better playback speed hahaha, the 970 is a beast at all things except smooth full resolution playback and scrubbing. I'd glad sell my 970 and pay an extra 300-400 for a GPU the provides smooth playback

Send your project to FXHome and they might be able to tell you where the bottleneck lies. Assuming you want to upgrade now, I can only assume you're either using a 980 Ti or Titan X, which is nuts.

Faster hardware should help, @TriFlixFilms. Using optimised video formats (if you aren't already) will also help. And, of course, we're always working to improve performance our end, too.

Many thanks, @SimonKJones.
The feedback from devs and the community is what sets HF apart from other software.
