We certainly aren't opposed to the idea, and are investigating the possibility of adding support for additional host platforms for the plug-ins. But we don't currently have any plans to add support for Edius, specifically.
Just to note though, the editor UI in Edius is *almost* as nice as the one in HitFilm. Both blow the doors off of Premiere in terms of usability though. No comparison.
I'd personally prefer to have better I/O options for HitFilm, so that I could edit in Edius, export a timeline into HitFilm, and finish there, though I might try using Resolve with the HitFilm plugins for some of the compositing that I need to do soon.

Lol first resolve needs plugin support... then every other editor can get it.
