HFXS files won't open
I was having issues with my notebook drive "C", a 256 GB SSD so I backed up my hfxs files to an external HDD, replaced my old SSD with a new 1TB, copied my hfxs files back onto my new SSD, installed HitFilm Express, but when I try to open the hfxs files, I get a message/window that there is no program associated to that extension and that I have to choose a program to open them. I tried HitFilm express program to no avail. What am I missing? Or what is missing? Please help!

@DDragonShark I do hope you have not wiped the old hard drive yet. The Hitfilm projects are stored as .hfp files not hfxs. I have mention of that type but memory is a bit fuzzy on their purpose other than they are not project files. Ill see if I can dig up what they are.
Ok, I found this thread. The 3rd down is a reply from a Dev:

HFXS files are Export Queue "Snapshot" files and are not the same as project files. Project files are HFP files.
As tddavis says, I hope you haven't erased the old drive yet.
