I Import my audio for a MP4 format of my twitch broadcast. When I review the clip using Microsoft movie and tv it looks great...audio from start to finish. Then when I import it to hitfilms I will have audio for about 45 min then it just stops. the video continues but all of a sudden no audio. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried on different videos and for each one at some point the audio just stops working. Any suggestion would be great as this is no a useless program.

What is the source of your video? Is it Variable Frame Rate? Could be that transcoding might clear it up. Please post a MediaInfo tree report on it so we have more info to go on. How to use that here.

Chances are the video file is VFR and that could be causing the issue. In which case you may need transcode. If you don't already have it, get a copy of Handbrake. Try transcoding the video and see if that helps. How to use Handbrake here.

Your video is Variable Frame Rate --> Frame rate mode : Variable

Try transcoding with Handbrake to convert to CFR.
