No layers when importing PSDs from Affinity into Imerge
So, it would seem that I'm able to see layers exported from Imerge Pro (Vegas Image in my case) to Affinity Photo, which I'm extremely happy about.
What i'm wondering is, why can't I make the reverse possible? I tried importing a PSD into affinity, then exported as a PSD, then brought it back to Imerge (VEGAS IMAGE) but layers are pretty much burned in as one layer.
Anything I'm missing?

The why, I can't give you, but the Imerge manual does say, "Note that while it is possible to import .psd files that contain multiple layers, they will import into Imerge as a flattened image. The contents of all visible layers will be included, but the separate .psd layers cannot be accessed or edited in Imerge."

It is easier to be able to import/export from and to different projects when this option is available. I agree
