I watched and followed the light saber tutorial to the letter.
I did everything in the tutorial and it did not work.
What am I doing wrong?

"It did not work" is not much info to help you. If you could specify what did not work, then we can maybe help you.

Sorry, but I stilld don't understand what your problem is. Could you post a screenshot?

Indeed, if you can please give some details regarding what is going wrong, or a screenshot as Robin says, so we can understand what results you are getting, then we will more likely be able to point out what needs changed to get the results you want.

I'm having trouble as well. My mask doesn't show up when I change the opacity back to 100%. I put the plane on and added the mask.
