I've just started to learn video editing. HitFilm Express is looks a pretty good choice, but....
I bought a Lenovo L340 laptop for video editing ( Intel Core i5 -9300H, 8GB memory, 1TB HDD, nVidia GTX1050 videocard ). I thought is a really good starting point, but I had to disappoint.
The HitFilm Express always crashing after a few minutes, and I have no clue why.
Do you have any ideas? Or the laptop is not suitable to video editing like I thought?

Could you ensure your drivers are up to date, that could be a problem if it's a new laptop.
