Laser Gun
See how I turned a toy gun into a movie prop. I also do some VFX at the end

Yup love it! Well done

Excellent work. I would not have used the toy because it looks too much like a toy. But after you used movie magic (spray paint) on it, it is brilliant. Congrats.

Thanks for the comments and for watching!

@howardshum Nice transition of that 'weapon'. It is always amazing what a little work and paint can do for available objects to transform them.
I've been doing a bit of prop work also for some Star Wars fan film video stuff. A hint to maybe think about........ maybe weather that paint job a bit to make it look more "lived in". A little very dry brushed silver paint along hard edges of metal that would get worn gives a really simple nice impression of natural wear of the coatings/finished on metal objects.

Here's an example on my DL-44 made from an orange and white plastic one from Rubies:

@JBaymore Excellent use of the silver "ageing" tip.
-
Thanks. Too much of that silver and it looks fake. The secret is a very dry brush, and lots of "scrubbing" it onto the surface you want to "age".
