Editing for IGTV
in HitFilm
Hi, I filmed a video (1080, 60fps) on my iPhone, for IGTV.
I want to edit it in HitFilm Express, so I consulted this thread on how to create new exports and such: https://fxhome.com/forum/discussion/47330/exporting-igtv-video
But when I add my file to the timeline, there is no video visual, I can hear my audio, but not see anything, like this:
What am I doing wrong?
To be honest, I really don't have much experience, and really only know the basics. I'm trying to learn as I go. So if you could explain like I'm 5, that's be great. Thanks!

There's a similar problem in another thread that I posted to earlier here is a copy of the comment:
The first thing I noticed was the footage is a game recording. Game recordings and web cams (also phones and tablets) record variable frame rate mostly and Hitfilm doesn't play well with that.
Watch both the tutorials here:
http://hitfilm.com/forum/discussion/40639/how-to-work-with-edit-video-game-footage-in-hitfilm#latest
And read this.

I suspect that is what is causing the weirdness but I could be wrong (or you could have already transcoded to a constant frame rate but hope this helps.
Edit: A MediaInfo text report of the source media you are having a problem with would be a help in finding out for sure that it's variable. When you generate a report select a text report and paste it here in a messgae..
