Ripple insert gap command? How can I perform an insert edit?
The #1 most needed command I've been missing from Hitfilm Express has been a command that does the exact opposite of what the "Ripple delete gap" command does.
I'd like to insert an audio or video segment in the middle of my existing, heavily edited, multi-channel project, and it's an absolute nightmare to try to select everything after the desired gap, move it to the right, and not mess up anything while doing so. While zooming out I can't see what I've selected, which makes this task near impossible for me. There MUST be a command somewhere that I've missed that allows me to separate my project at any point and insert a gap of x length. Or is there?

@AttilaTheLegend I think the tool you are looking for is "Insert Clip." The Shortcut is B. For mouse click, it is located on the bottom of the trimmer and it looks like an arrow pointing downward into a gap.
