Moving a clip erases other clips?

there's this problem i have with this software now i use to move 1 single clip and all the clips move but now as i move 1 clips it shrinks and erases the other clip how do i undo this?

I'm not sure I picture what's happening to you, but my guess is you're using something else than the "selection tool", maybe the "roll edit tool" or something like that.
Look at what shape the cursor takes when you get close to the boundary between two clips --and of course, have a look at what tool is selected on the left side
