Act Of Valor

Hey everybody,
I just saw a trailer for a film that I'm incredibly stoked about right now. It is called Act Of Valor. It is directed by Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh. It stars a group of active navy seals rather than actors, which could be very interesting. Anyway, here's the trailer:

Some other fun facts about this movie, from what I heard they used DSLR's for 85% on this project including the 5D, 7D and maybe the 1D as well. I also heard that apparently they shot mostly live rounds for the movie, obviously they had to use blanks at times, but other than that, it was live rounds. Thoughts?

I think it looks incredible, what are your thoughts?

Yeah i agree it looks amazing! Active or ex servicemen always bring more of a sense of realism to a film than actors i think- well, for films like this at least where every move, tactic and operation they've trained thousands of times before. They used real soldiers in Green Zone as well i think for background soldiers and also some speaking roles.
Thanks for sharing that, probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise!
