It took long enough A cheeky bit of advertising going on in there :')
I see the Doctor uses Hitfilm and watches Neon Visual videos.
You really got the materials on the TARDIS dialed in (Thanks, new maps and shader!) and that lumpy green vortex is a lot of fun!
Triem23 That's a bloody keen eye you have there ! It's just noticeable before the transition! haha Yep this Doc has a good engine Play the Vortex at half speed it's alive I tell you :P MarkBrown Thank you mate If you have subbed I'll make sure to do so in return !
Stargazer54Thanks buddy It's kicking off pretty well :O
Ady CedricBonnier And to the rest of the development staff I had to give you guys recognition in this one, It's quick but at the start from the console room monitor a bit of cheesiness is happening on the screen, not many would understand what is going on but it's there I wanted to put the entire chain of events that happen from compiling but time was short, the real cheesiness is the gl code on initiation :'), Nicely done this release...... Nicely done indeed.
I wondered what the heck the source code was doing in there. Even some compiler techno-babble.
NormanPCN Haha It's pretty cool with what it signifies, compile and launching the new engine, This version is the extended and long version, It will be out of concept once the main one is released on Christmas eve.
Itching to say it, but can't do it just yet, it's not quite there yet but you will know when it is, :') Incoming quote from legendary cartoon, :P
How did I miss this thread? The vid is really great!!! Congrats on 9k+!!!
@StormyKnight Thanks buddy! The staff are probably sick to death with me posting Doctor Who Intros, so they whacked a Heavy duty filter on my threads :P Haha
A cheeky member of staff changed my thread title.........................I'm watching you ¬_¬
Hmm- the time stamp shows it was changed in the present but upon further inspection it was actually changed in 2019 around May it looks like. ;^)
@StormyKnight I was doing a DBZ quote "It's over 9000" in the thread title, and it was changed in the Shadow's while I was working mean !
How long did it take you to create that?100% of content created in HitFilm?
@Yeremyah yeshh down to the micron for the time it took, around 4/5months, but I have three other releases from that time it took that are being finetuned,
Check the Christmas one aswell , the cogs/gears have snow settlement and a snow vortex
That reminds me. I gotta DL this video and look at the fluffy, fireball'ish vortex/tunnel slowly and closely to figure it out. I like it and I think even my ham fisted fingers could pull that one off.
@Yeremyah Check out the @NXVisualStudio Youtube page and find the Star Trek credits re-creation video which demos the Hitfilm Celestial model pack.
NormanPCN Go for it! the best bet for getting that effect is to follow the HF2U tutorial I did with atomic's and that will get you 50% of the way, the rest is pretty straight forward, Give us a shout if you need any help
Atomics for the texture!? I would not have thought that. Then again, I did not spend much time with atomics for tunnel textures.
@NormanPCN atomics for the texture animation shot, have the particles big enough so they form a bumpy clean ring with fractal animation and that will be enough to drive a solid tunnel wall from the sim, you could try changing the default sphere to a personal texture on the atomics,
@Sarasota whee thank you indeed
@NormanPCN Tony missed a chance to plug his own tutorial.
@NormanPCN and others.... frame by frame info.Vimeo has the capability to do single frame advance byholding the SHIFT KEY + use RIGHT or LEFT ARROW KEYS
...and for YouTube I use a Chrome extension called YouTube Plus
@NormanPCN once you get down Tony's other slit scan tutorials you'll also be able to do this. ;-)
@Triem23 I still think this is a stunning piece, you even took to the methods used to create the transitions from the original.PaulHesh Thank you for the info .
Seeing it in motion, the green was totally the right choice. Nice vortex, too!
@Triem23 Tron like retro baby :') I'm sticking with it now, agreed! it's all looking retro !
