    Boujou - currently $5,000.00 (at 50% off)
PFHoe Pro - currently $150.00 (with 25% off coupon from HitFilm.com)
Voodoo - currently free (as it always is)
You get what you pay for. Since you don't mention what criteria you are interested in, to define one or the other as better, its hard to answer for certain, but if you can afford BouJou, then get it, period. Though I would also take a closer look at Syntheyes or PFtrack if you have that kind of budget, as they are also excellent tracking tools that could still save you some money. As far as Voodoo, there are a number of threads discussing Voodoo around the forums already, and its not necessarily a bad tracker, especially for free, but it also comes with relatively no support, which can make things tricky if you get in a bind.

From the information I read on Icarus, it looks like it was the original program that was made at the University of Manchester, that eventually became PFTracker. Same underlying technology as PFHoe.

This Link has a newer version of Icarus 2.09
    http://blenderartists.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-104814.html
Version 2.07 lets you track HD Video, but can't export to .ma format.
Version 2.09 will only let you track SD video, but will export to .ma

Its also worth noting that there isn't any version of Icarus that can be used on an actual production; its for educational use only, and has been out of development for quite a few years, so there is also no official support.

Because that's what the license states. Or did state when the software was still available from its creators. In the most simplifies sense, it means you can't use it to make money.
