From Guardians of the Galaxy to HitFilm
"When we realized just how much of a leap forward we were making both technically and conceptually with the release of HitFilm 3 Pro, we knew that we’d come to the point where we had matured beyond our old logo [...]" Read more >>

I've got absolutely NOTHING against the first two iterations of the HitFilm logo, but this most recent one stands out to me as cohesive, forward-thinking, and immediately memorable. Fantastic work! It's a real "gem"

It looks great, I had no idea what sort of pedigree it had behind it though
I can't wait for the next update... it sounds like it's coming just in time for post on our next ghost story short that we're filming this weekend

You have no idea how hard it was for me to resist compositing the HitFilm logo into the middle of the UI circle Drax is staring at in the header image.
-
I'm surprised that you were able to resist doing that!

Thanks @Porq and @WhiteCranePhoto - the logo is pretty darn epic.
So chuffed we got the Territory Studio guys on board! -

I also like the new logo the best. It makes me think of 1960s Star Trek style. Like Kirk would walk into an alien room and that logo would be hanging on the wall.
-
I think it would've look better if it had some lens dirt incorporated into it, right Simon?

@PaulHesh You, sir, just made my day.

Absolutely love the new logo. If anyone else is trying to achieve the same effect in Photoshop I found this tutorial, which I reckon is how the cool people over at Territory Studios made it.

I could watch low poly tutorials forever. They look so cool (take forever) but the concept behind them is really simple. Thanks for reminding me of them @HenryGill!

Question: I want to do a small animation demo and give credit where credit is due by putting the logos of the software packages used onscreen at the end as black logos against a 20-25% gray background. Is there a high-contrast version of the new HitFilm logo or would I have to build one? For the record, I'm using Blender, Affinity Designer and HitFilm. I'm also a user of Affinity Designer and, recently, on one of their forums, the question was raised regarding the use of AD in a HitFilm and/or Motion workflow...so I thought I'd try to put a 10-15 second demo together using Designer, Blender and HitFilm.
If there is any legal reason that FXHome doesn't want the logo used in that fashion, I am perfectly willing to abide by their decision.

Thanks, Simon. If it's not a problem, I'll post the finished piece on the movie wall here as well.
