I wanna make some text bubbles with audio. But I want it to be kind of old school video gamey. So I don't want actual spoken word but more like sounds to indicate the spoken words. Beeps and boops and the like. Anyone know any audio techniques to take actual spoken word and make it sound something like that or any method to make your own beeps, doesn't have to match up or anything. I've included an example of the sort of thing I'm talking about, Its set to start with the dialog

Do you have Audacity? I'm thinking Audacity has tone generators. Or stock beeps.

EDIT. After listening to the clip, those are vocal samples that have been chopped into syllables and pitch shifted. It's some manual work, but Audacity (which is free) can handle it.
