The new HitFilm does not support addons like the old HitFilm Express. If you previously bought addons, it’s probably best to stay with the old HitFilm Express for the time being. You can continue to use HitFilm Express for as long as you have a computer that supports it. The final version that supports purchased addons can be found here:

No, you don't. You can choose to upgrade to a sub plan after the 12 months of updates is up, or you can stay on the perpetual version of HitFilm you're on forever.
@Chutwo the only feature removed from the perpetual licenses is the included Music, SFX, and title templates (Artlist + Motion Array content). This is because Artlist content can ONLY be licensed under a subscription. Other than this, they are absolutely identical.
