I have no icons in the forum textfield so I cant post images, whats wrong?

Tagging @philipwesson. If I remember correctly, there may be a timeout for new forum members before they can post images. In the meantime you could upload your image to an image share site and post a link to it.

I have picdrop now but when I post the link it does not seem to be clickable?

Can you post the text version of the link here? And I'll see if I can copy/paste that into a browser.
[Edit] Never mind. I saw your post with the link. I was able to copy/paste and it worked. Could be that you'll have to make a carriage return after pasting the text for the link to make it live?
