Auto rotoscoping (similar to Roto Brush 2.0 in AE)?
Hey guys
Is there any way to create an auto rotoscoping - meaning not having to create a point to point mask for each and every frame around a specific moving object / person?
Not sure if hitfilm has this or no...

Hitfilm doesn't have a roto brush tool. The Mocha add on for Express (included with Pro) can be described as a "roto assistant." You'll have to draw your splines, but, usually does a good job of tracking the spline once drawn, so Mocha can cut roto time by 75%. A YouTube search for "Mocha Hitfilm Rotoscope" will bring up multiple tutorials.
Otherwise, you might want to up-vote this feature request thread.

You could also try this website filmsensei is talking about. The free version isn't full HD but filmsensei shows you a technique to get almost the maximum visual quality by using it as a cut out. I've been using this site for over a year and it's super easy.
