Love the glint on that 3D model as it almost passes the camera at 0:11 - helps sell the realism (though it is a flying hammer, so how much realism can we expect, really? 😁)

Your grab moment is done very well. Personally I'd speed it up a fair bit, to reflect the power.

@KirstieT thanks for your input. Im a realist when it comes to VFX, well I try to be. I'm really glad you felt it sold the scene. And after all you are right. We can only wish it was real. So all we can do is pretend lol.

Is something I think we all do, we work on our passion project and think, oh I need people to see how cool this is, and so it tends to be attending a slower pace. Keep it up, question, is the hammer still 3d model in your hand or a prop?

3d model dude, the trick was to be really still.. so it made masking easier work.

Nicely done, I suspect they do a bit of practical and vfx in the movie. He tends to move about more showing the force of the hammer arriving. But still good effort.
