Disappointment 😞
I used to be a fxhome subscriber back when they first came out. I am back at fxhome I have a brand new laptop and the GPU it's good enough to run normal software but for some reason it keeps freezing on me and saying send a notification. anytime I put just the picture in and work on a green screen it just freezes and turn off I don't know what else to do. I paid for fxhome express so i can see whats new before i get the pro version and im already having problems i haven't even got to upload video yet just a photo. Need help

@Romey HF Express is Free. HF Express should be downloaded directly from FXHome here - https://fxhome.com/product/hitfilm-express. The only thing to pay for are Add-ons and they are not required to use the basic software.

Sorry to hear your having issues, regarding the issues, what is the spec and model. Are you driver's all up to date.
You can install and use pro without buying it just won't export (I think).

The minimum specs for Hitfilm went way up with the 2021.3 version. And even with a pretty decent machine... it runs much slower than prior versions. So maybe check the threads here that talk about the new specs. That might be the issue for ya'.

Yep specs did go up, but they had been the same for a long time. I'm not staff so can't say for certain, but the impact of digital media becoming more easy to gather in ever increasing formats and size is going to put a strain on any computer.
I believe the reasons behind proxy auto generation was to help people with the work flow. Rather than have to transcode all media before bringing into hitfilm, it now can and does by default do this for you.
