Bitrate and quality problem since September update
Hello everybody. Since the September update I have noticed a marked deterioration in video quality with Hitfilm Express. As you can see in the screenshot (pic 1), there is a clear change in bitrate between a video made before (center) of the update and one made after (right); on the left you will find the data of the source.
In the other image you will then find the specifications of the same video exported with 3 different parameters; as you can see the bitrate doesn't change much and consequently neither the quality of the final video.
Can you help me understand something? Do you have any ideas on how to solve? Thanks!

Hi, some good information, I would get Hitfilm support onto this, raise a ticket with them for direct help.

Andy is correct and you should contact Support.
Just out of curiosity, are you on Windows 11? Hitfilm Express uses the OS native encoders, and almost every thread about export issues in the last six months is a Win 11 user. I'm guessing something in the OS encoder system changed. Just a guess, but it fits the data.
