Lots of lag and freezing since new update
Hi, I recently updated to the new Hitfilm Express and am encountering a lot of lag and freezing while editing. I had no issues with the previous version, the computer is less than a year old, and all my drivers are up to date. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

System specs, please? CPU, GPU, OS, RAM and Storage.
What types of Media are you using? A "Tree" report from MediaInfo (it's a fee program) of the media might help.
Double check your drivers. You cannot trust Windows or your GPU Management software to report driver updates. Some OEMs actually block driver updates. Drivers should always be checked from the GPU manufacturer's website.
Are you on the Windows 11 Beta? Several other Win 11 users are reporting issues.
Hitfilm doesn't support Win 11 yet. If you're on Win 11 you should roll back to Win 10.
