Issue with text not appearing on screen [SOLVED - Text on wrong video layer]

My issue is that whenever I make text, it doesn't appear on top of my video. No matter what I do with color or size it just disappears.

I checked out other questions people posted with tutorials and found nothing. Not sure why the text is invisible.

    Your text is on "Video 1." Your existing video is on "Video 2."

    Hitfilm renders layers from bottom to top.

    Your text is under the background video. Move your text to a "Video 3" track above the video.
