Hitfilm Express keeps Crashing
I just started using hitfilm express yesterday and when I was adding text to the scene editor the whole program turned white. Afterwards my monitors both blacked out and Hitfilm express crashed. I restarted my computer and tried again; it worked fine for a bit but crashed again when I was making a composite shot. The same crash occurred, but this time headphones made a loud 4 beeps while the screen was black.
In both instances after the program crashed if I tired to relaunch the program it would immediately close itself and I would need to restart the computer to use it again. Additionally after it crashed my computer returned back to normal completely minus the ability to launch the program.

@fxhomer254082 Did you send in the crash report when the software crashed? If so, could you contact support directly to see if they can assist at all: www.fxhome.com/ask

[{"insert":"No I did not. There was no option for a crash report. The whole program itself was executed. Would it have generated a physical on in the files? If so where can I find it?\n"}]

@fxhomer254082 Go here to put in a support ticket https://fxhome.com/questions/submit
They will best equipped to help you. A couple of things you can try in the meantime is uninstall and reinstall. Also check that your drivers are current, especially GPU. But I think this is really an issue only the Support staff can help with since your system specs appear to be fine.
