Would love to see Audio Ducking includes as a new feature in Hitfilm.
So that the volume level of background music is automatically lowered anytime a person speaks, then raised when the person finishes speaking.
Ducking is a time saver.
Thing about ducking is the audio to be ducked needs to "source layer" the audio triggering the ducking, and Hitfilm currently can't source another track in the Editor Timeline.
So, devs, this might have to be a Comp Shot option which so both audio tracks can be sourced inside a Comp. If ducking (example) one music track with multiple vocal clips all the vocals would have to embed one more time to collapse them into the same Comp layer.
Unless the Editor can be changed to "source track."
Still, even having to embed Comps, a ducking tool would save time over manually keyframing fades in the mixer or via effect.
