Can't install HitFilmExpress_x64_16.0.10807.58344
Any ideas?
I've tried installing on my old desktop ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series graphics. Error is opencl.dll not found.
I've tried installing on my HP laptop NVIDIA Quadro M1200 graphics. just crashes when I try to run it. I sent the dump to support.
Both are Windows 10.

Check the minimum specs here https://fxhome.com/support/hitfilm-express
Make sure your GPU drivers are updated and from the manufacturer and not Win updates. M$ has been know to downgrade drivers.

Your Radeon 4800 is DEFINITELY under spec. Hitfilm requires 1GB of VRAM and the Radeon 4800 only has 512GB.
Incidentally, according to AMD there is no Win 10 driver for the Radeon 4800. Dunno if that's causing issues with other software on that machine, but those drivers are way obsolete. Last driver for the Radeon 4800 was released in 2013 for Windows 8.1. That's 13 year old hardware. It's had a good run.
The Quadro is certainly within hardware spec, but is a workstation card not a gaming card. Workstation cards generally expect software specific drivers, while Hitfilm uses the generic OEM drivers intended for gaming. Here I'm afraid you'll have to stick with Support. The forum is user based (including mods/Ambassadors), and other than "check your drivers," there's not much we can do to help with hardware issues.
Wish I had better news, Stewart, but all I can do is refer you to Support directly.
