I'm using the completely free version of Hitfilm and I don't understand a few things. How do I get it to be a desktop icon. How do I work the opening interface.

I’m assuming you’re on Windows 10, but to create a desktop icon of HitFilm (or any program) open the Start menu, scroll to the program you want to make into an icon (sometimes they will be inside a folder), click and hold the program you want, then drag and drop it onto the desktop. Viola! New icon. (Note, this doesn’t work if you type in a search for the program, you must scroll through the list)
