The team worked on a script to import from Blender to Hitfilm. See this thread here:
Also, one of our Ambassadors @spydurhank has been working on a customized version of Blender with the ability to import whole Blender scenes into Hitfilm called Filmer. You might check out his progress here:

Excuse me for asking @jackschoening but what other software that you have found imports the .blend file other than Blender ? I'am really not aware of any myself.
Not sure if it would even work properly. For one thing Eveee and Cycles materials are not even interchangeable I dont think. Area lights, etc, etc. It would be a nightmare programing the importer to catch ever scenario possible.
Or are you just looking to import the blend scene minus material, environment and lighting?

As @GrayMotion implies this is basically an unreasonable and impossible request. This would require Hitfilm to parse the Blender shaders, including Eevee, Cycles, Lambert and other algorithms Hitfilm doesn't have. This would require Hitfilm to understand and use Blender modifiers, along with all the other features in Blender including bones/rigging, sculpting, tracking, composting, etc. Effectively, Hitfilm would have to incorporate all Blender code.
Your best bet for Blender/Hitfilm integration is @spydurhank's "Filmer" build.
