I can't seem to download the file to my Mac? can anyone help?

Hi there, rather embarrassing, but I can't seem to even download the file to my Mac to even get started.. has anyone else had problems doing this, or can anyone assist me..? I follow all the steps and its says it has worked, but it doesn't appear anywhere on the computer. (its a brand new Mac) Many thanks, Akara

When you say "brand new Mac" could you confirm which Mac and OS that is? Is it the new M1 mac?
