Everytime I try to get in it, when it pops up it has a white screen then exits out. What's the solution?
@aaronroblessoto It sounds to me like you are describing an issue that some people have reports concerning using a 2nd monitor on their systems. From what I have seen posted, unplugging and trying to launch Hitfilm should work and stop the white screen. I'll try and hunt a link to a thread about that details far more than I can recall about it just in case you are using dual monitors.
System specs? CPU, GPU, OS, RAM and Storage? What anti-virus are you running? Is it a Dell or Alienware?
I'm just using a laptop and not a second monitor.
Triem23, I'm not sure about that because when I first installed Hitfilm Express my laptop was working fine, then for some reason it now closes itself whenever I try to open it up.
Humor me. There were some core changes in HF16 that changed the minimum system specs. I'd like to (hopefully) eliminate that as a possibility. 😊
So, I'm looking at System in my Control Panel, and my specs in this laptop are:
Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 1.38 GHz
Ram: 8.00 GB (7.73 GB usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
My laptop is also pen and touch (Touchscreen) and runs on Windows 10 but I don't think that effects Hitfilm Express that much.
64bit OS - Win10 or Win8?
