HitFilm Express 16 crashes PC on export

Since upgrading to Hitfilm Express 16, my pc literally shuts down at the end of the export process. I have updated my graphics driver and rebooted the PC many times. Same result after the update and reboot. This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed. I have bought many add-ons for HF Express and am extremely disappointed that Hitfilm is useless to me at this time.

My PC:

AMD 1600x cpu

16 g ram

AMD RX 580 8G ram

2 SSD internal drives and other storage drives

Latest Windows 10 updates

Is there any solution?

What's the source of the media you're using in your project(s)? Camera? Phone? Screen capture?

If you don't already have MediaInfo installed, get that now. Drop one of your files into it, then switch to the Text report option. Copy the full report and paste it into a reply here.

Thanks for helping. Here is a MediaInfo text report from one of my clips in the project that is failing and causing a PC shutdown. Taken with Sony RX100 mk7 camera. Shot 4k at 30 fps and inserted into a 24 fps timeline. When you asked for a report on one of my files, I assumed that refers to one of the clips that I added to the timeline. So that what is included here. Let me know if I need to supply more info. Thanks again, Jim

And if this helps, here is a clip from a Sony A7iii. This clips was included in another timeline that I just exported successfully. So there must be something wrong with the RX100 files or something I am doing wrong with those files. Thanks again.

Have you tried transcoding the problem footage with handbrake or something similar to see if that helps?

Bear with us here. A shut down could indicate a thermal problem. Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while exporting.

    MSI afterburner for GPU

    Ryzen Master for CPU

Stress test GPU outside HitFilm using Furmark, does it crash?

Stress test CPU outside HitFilm using Prime95, does it crash?

In addition, it could be a PSU or RAM returning errors or signs of corruption.

Ill try my best to troubleshoot this, but itll likely take some time, so be patient.
