The latest Blender Importer Script
Greetings everyone,
We have created a public repository where you can download the latest Blender import python script for CamTrackAR.
https://gitlab.com/nickfx/camtrackar-importer-for-blender
From time to time, Blender updates can introduce changes to the their Python API which can break functionality of Add-Ons. As the script is included by the app, we previously had to wait until an app update to update the scripts. Hosting the script publically hopefully makes it possible to get fixes out to you as soon as possible. 🙂

Thank you. Just bought full version and now it’s working with blender 2.91. Using iPhone 12 Pro Max, and seems to work better with this phone than my old iPhone 10. Maybe the LIDAR features?

@badmonk Indeed, we've also noticed a substantial improvement brought about by LiDAR. We've been using the 2020 iPad for our content production here as the tracking has been really good. Previously the technology has had to use image analysis, but with LiDAR it means that even dark, untextured scenes (like greenscreens, usefully!) can track to a much better standard.

Been trying with several shots today with the free version, but so far I've not been able to get a stable shot. Everything is sliding and sometimes there's "hickups" in the timeline.
I rendered one shot in Redshift with some test objects where you can see the problems clearly: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0tzj46go6stv9y0/Testing_CamtrackAR_01.mp4?dl=0
Using Blender 2.93.1 / Iphone 12pro / IOS 15.0
Am I doing something wrong, or is this still buggy ?
Thanks,
R.
