Is there a way to trim a composite shot to content area only?

I couldn't find this in feature requests but I m sure I remember reading something like it a couple of years ago.

Is there a way to change the length of a comp shot to match the content area? Often I end up with 'blank' space and have to manually chop things around.

    Nope, just editing the length of the Comp via Properties. Feature request? "Trim to In/Out area" is probably the most useful way to do it. I know I'll often make a Comp where I have extra time at the head and tail, so setting an In/Out area then having the Comp bracket those points would be of use.
