been trying to use power mesh in hitfilm pro for a couple of days---using the method of trial and error---can figure it out--using the ofx version of mocha pro 2021---dose any one know how to make it work.
I know David F. Sandberg did a video on it in Blender instead of hitfilm.
Hoping to do it in hitfilm ---
Mocha Pro Power Mesh export is Ae nulls or Alembic mesh only. Hitfilm's Alembic support is playback of existing animations only. If you're thinking of using power mesh for things Iike t-shirt logos and applying things to faces and want to keep it "In Hitfilm," then you need to learn the insert module inside Mocha Pro and then set the module to render in the Hitfim interface.
Might be simpler to render the effect out in Blender and import that into HitFilm I think. :/
@EvilDaystar Mocha's Insert module is pretty easy to use, IMHO.
I tried following and doing the recent tutorial by Surfaced Studio. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1lv3Y7ovis . This method works very well also in Hitfilm.
My tracking is not perfect but you get the idea. https://kimframes.net/hitfilm/meshwarp/main_comp.mkv
Here you have a tutorial using Mocha Pro 2021's powermesh and Hitfilm Pro 16:
Just playing with this @Triem23 have I got this right, Hitfilm Mocha does not support mesh you need Mocha Pro?
@Andy001z correct. PowerMesh requires Mocha Pro, and Mocha Pro requires Hitfilm Pro.
@Triem23 ain't going to be using that any time soon, but pricey for my needs
