practical use for color labels
I just noticed that clips can be assigned to various color labels? Is there any practical use for this, other than the obvious visual difference? I was hoping that clips could be selected by color, but could not find a way to accomplish that.

No, it's just the visual tag, but, once you dig into the File>Options menu, customize the colors and assign default colors by type (instead of random) you'll see it's a very nice feature to have.

Thanks. I had discovered the re-labelling and may make use of it.

There is a "Select Matching Labels" button at the bottom of the Label right-click menu.

A week ago, i didnt even know that this existed. Setting up predefined colours for everything youd want is by far the best way to go about it

"SELECT MATCHING LABELS" - Holy crud! That is genius!

I tend to use the color tags as some sort of 'type' tag. Grade layers are ie green, 3D models are blue, etc. So its way easier to find the layer I want when working with a ton of layers :)

@EvilDaystar @JavertValbarr huh. Overlooked that!

Arghhhh.... I hate it when that happens. PLUS I had headed here to report finding the "select matching" command, but you folks were too fast. Thanks for not berating me for that oversight!!!
