Masking icons changed in Hitfilm 15?

In all my the online tutorials about how to create composite shots. I see these two icons on the left of the screen.

However when I create a composite shot, I only see this icon

What am i missing here?

    Click and hold on the mask button to get a menu with the other mask tools.

    The mask tools have changed a couple of times over Hitfilm's life.

    With HF 15 the two mask icons you see in older tutorials got combined to a single icon. As Ben Norris said, click and hold on the single icon and a submenu will give you the choices of rectangle and circle masks - AND new rounded rectangle and polygon mask options! 😁
