[FEATURE] Audio Waveform Visible on Editor Timeline from a Composite Shot

So..... you can turn on audio waveforms in a comp shot by ticking the Show Waveform box in Layer Properties. But if you bring in the comp shot onto the editor timeline there is no waveform visible. Sure would be handy to see the audio waveform of a comp shot in the editor.

Apologies if this has been asked before or I am completely blind to the solution.

I'm off my comp right now, and could be wrong, but don't waves show up if a comp is pre-rendered?

Anyways, not a duplicate thread, Lynn (I just checked while merging a different redundant thread), and I upvoted...

@Triem23 Mike, you are correct. A Pre-Render of the comp shot will show the audio waveform on the timeline. However, this should really be a pass-through option without having to resort to the pre-render. If you biff your comp shot or tweak a parameter you'll have to pre-render all over again.
