@Andy001z Merry VFXmas to you too. Been trying to get my Christmasy video for this year done but too many irons and all that. I may not make it. Yours is very nice.
Yeah @tddavis I know I squeezed it in yesterday, took about 3hrs.
A merry bump.
Happy VFXmas indeed, Andy! I just treated myself with a new graphics card and display after previous card shorted all of my displays and itself, never saw anything like it before.
I'm hoping to find some time to learn (re-learn >.<) HitFilm, I've been quite inactive on the forums as of late but I'm glad I caught your thread before Xmas at least! :-P
Glad your back up and vfxing @cnk have fun, what card did u buy?
Glad to be back! Such a lovely community here.
I went with a GTX 1660 "Super", and the monitor is called AOC C24G1. My previous graphics card was the R9 380, which served me well for about 4 years or so.
After i did some more testing, i found that the PCI-e slot supplying the GPU power on the motherboard may be the culprit. I should be back up and running sometime in january. :-)
Merry VFXmas to you all too!
Crap @cnk hate it when kit goes wrong over the holidays, so many plans for free time ,gone
Santa was here and now i have my dream system for Hitfilm, Resolve and Vegas
