How do I use colochecker passport from x-rite?

Hi, wanted to know how can I use colorchecker passport to adjust my colors properly

    @triforcefx I'm gonna tag you in here. 

    So, the colorchecker passport is basically a card with controlled color swatches. 

    There are advanced uses of certain swatches that should be looked up online, but where it becomes useful as a starting point in Hitfilm is White Balance a certain swatch is 70% grey, and, in Hitfilm's White Balance effect, using the eyedropper to select that swatch gives a calibrated neutral tone to correct white balance.
