(ANSWERED) Neon outline on guns (FRAGMOVIE)

I am making a CS:GO fragmovie and tried using the "Find Edges" effect to outline the gun. Instead it removes some parts of the gun and turns the gun black. I know Hitfilm 12 has some of the same effects as Sony Vegas but this doesn't seem to be possible in Hitfilm 12.

    Follow the exact process they show in that video and you will be good to go. All the tools they use are available in HitFilm Express for free.

    1. Key out the green
    2. Set the layers blend mode to Add
    3. Apply Find Edges
    4. Add Levels Histogram
    5. Add some Glow
