Rotoscoping or Black Background?
So if anyone has seen the documentary "Human" (Freely available on Youtube)
Does anyone know if the interviews were actually done on a black background or indeed rotoscoped?
Black backgrounds, with this quality of a silhouette are no joke. You'd usually require a spacious room (at least in my experience) to produce the results they came up with, and since the team who made this travelled 60 countries with Fixers to get people on film, I highly doubt they had the ideal circumstances in each and every single interview. Some interviews seem soft around the edges too.
