Hi,

The latest version 12.3 can't open .mov files anymore.  On every thumbnail of the .mov file, there is an instruction to "install quicktime".  12.2 still works.

Here is the link to the video:

@beetlebug Thanks for reporting this, we will investigate what is happening there. We have fixed an issue with MOVs not loading properly for 12.3 so maybe this introduced a new issue. Sorry about that, hopefully we can fix it quickly.

  • Hello, I have Hitfilm 12.3 and I also have a problem with the .mov videos.
    The 1920x1080 video 20621kbits / s 59.94 frames / s
In Hitfilm the video flashes .... unusable.
I trancode the video with Handbrake freeware, in video HQ H264 30Fps audio AC3

    Then it works in Hitfilm

    Handbrake: HandBrake-1.2.2-x86_64-Win_GUI.zip

@beetlebug We have fixed this issue internally, it will hopefully be included in the next update.

@michaelCHILARD If you upload your video somewhere, we can have a look at what is happening. If you do not want to post the link here, please contact support directly.

  • here is a video that flashes on my Hitfilm.
it is a direct rush not worked.
