Can't import Cineform files in HF Express 2017 (Codec info inside)

I followed the instructions on this site to convert to Cineform using VirtualDub which went fine, but when trying to import into HF, it fails with: "The media could not be imported". These files play back fine in VLC. Using the build-in Win10 video player, only the audio plays but I think that's because Win doesn't have native support for cineform.
Here's the codec info for the file I'm trying to import:

You missed one item about Cineform transcoding. Your audio is 32-bit float. I do not think Hitfilm Express 2017 supports that audio format.
I think the current Hitfilm version does support that audio format. I doubt your source audio is 24/32-bit so 32-bit output would be wasteful to use.
