Can I cap renders?
I have a situation where all files need to be under 100mb.... I was wondering if there is a way to do this during export?
You'll need to do some basic math.
How long is your video in seconds? You basically divide 800 (800 megabits... what video bandwith is measured in) by the length of the video in seconds to get the maximum bitrate you can use for export.
So, for example, a 2 minute video - 120 second: 800/120=6.66666 mbps.
Note the lower bitrate you use the worse your video quality is going to be. In the above example I came up with 6.666 mbps. This is about half of the Youtube-recommended 12mbps for 30fps, 1080p video. In other words, pretty low. If this were, say, some kind of 4k, 60fps project then this bitrate would be impossibly low to maintain quality.
Why the file size requirement?
