@pinthenet said "I managed to do it by adding several copies of the model after each other in the timeline, adding a different animation to each copy."
Yep, That's really the only way I could get multiple animation to work in Hitfilm without using Blender. -
@GrayMotion, according to the HFP manual, 6.20.5. Alembic Animation: "Note that you can add multiple Alembic animations to a single model. These animations can be set up to work sequentially or simultaneously." I exported a couple of Mixamo animations thru Blender as .abc files, then added them to the migration control, but there were no options for sequential. Maybe it's under 'Custom Playback', I don't think I checked that for the .abc animations.

Just caught it, awesome show Jay.
-
@spydurhank Thanks!
-
Nice video Jay, but,,,,,,,,,
It seems to have driven @Triem23 over the edge. He just posted a strange tutorial about woodchucks. :-o
-
@DataDesign nah, that's about the last FXHOME Q&A. ;-)
-
@DataDesign Apparently some weirdo by the name of Nemo McAlias asked what can only be described as "THE" question. If only we could unmask this well disguised villain! Thank goodness for our hero, @Triem23 coming to our rescue!
PS: There's got to be a plot twist in here somewhere!
PSS: The woodchuck tutorial was actually a pretty good one. It certainly gave me a lot to think about, however, @CourtneyP told me that she thought the specularity was too low. (Inside joke!) Lol!
-
@FilmSensei we'll certainly never be able to find the sick mind that would come up with "Nemo McAlias!" it's a mystery.
Specularity was fine, but the fresnel needed a fine tuning.
-
Fresnel is important, but specularity is everything when it comes to woodchuck effects.
